Representatives from the UK Climate Resilience Programme’s existing 19 projects are to meet for a two-day workshop in Leeds.
Project leaders, co-investigators and some stakeholders involved with the projects will converge at ODI’s hackspace to introduce and discuss their projects at the event, organised and hosted by the UKCRP’s Champions, Suraje Dessai and Kate Lonsdale with their support team.
The workshop runs 14-15 November 2019 and is by invitation only.
Co-Champion Suraje Dessai said: “We are really looking forward to getting all of the projects together under one roof, finding out more about their work and discussing strategic objectives. With 19 projects to cover, it is going to be a busy couple of days!”
Co-Champion Kate Lonsdale added: “It will be very helpful to us to meet people face to face and get to know them, and for them to get to know us. Establishing relationships with the projects and connecting across them is an important part of the Champions’ role.”
